Cheesecake, Gift Cards and True Love

You know it’s true love when your husband buys you a cookbook for Christmas that’s all about cheesecake when he doesn’t care for cheesecake.

All sorts of fabulously decadent cheesecake recipes reside within the pages but they are just that – decadent. I could eat a whole cheesecake and that would be bad. It also would be pricey so I don’t make them very often.

You know it’s true love when you tweet about a new store opening AND talk about it so much that your kids beg to go buy groceries there because they need to see it. It also turns into truer love when that company WANTS TO SEND YOU A GIFT CARD for your “tweet love”.

Do you know where I am headed yet? I’m headed straight for decadent rich cheesecake. See, I’m not “normal”. Most “normal” people would be excited to go treat themselves to a slice of cheesecake. Not me. I will be satisfied when I can MAKE my very own 10 step cheesecake.
