Every summer we end up going to the shore for a summer day trip at least once or twice. I like to be shore ready on a budget. I always end up getting a few of my outfit or accessory pieces from Walmart because I always come across cute and amazing finds.
The other day I was sent on a mission to see what I felt was an amazing find at Walmart. I grew up shopping there so I can’t say that there were many things that shocked me, but I set out to see what I could find to be shore ready ahead of schedule. In other words, before I am on my way TO the shore. Here’s the outfit I found in more detail. Oh, and by the way, I came in under $50 for all 5 pieces. 
That’s not the only way they keep me on budget and ready for a day in sun and sand though. Inevitably, that 2 hour drive gives me plenty of time to think of everything I forgot to bring. You know, like sunscreen. In this fair toned and sensitive skinned family it’s kind of important to to have great sunscreen, especially ones with natural ingredients, or at the very least, ones for sensitive skin. Thank you for bailing me out every year, Walmart. 
I also tend to forget to pack enough water. Long hours of play in the sun, sand, and salt water make the perfect recipe for dehydration. Thank you Walmart for ice and water bottles. While I’m there I’ll grab another snack or two and run my kids into the bathroom.
