Fashion Friday: Red, White, and Blue

I finally got my act together and coordinated for a holiday. No, I didn’t pull out the t-shirt with a flag. I don’t even OWN a t-shirt with a flag.

I love looking nice and I love when I wear something people compliment, but even better is when I know I look nice AND didn’t pay the piper for it.

Today’s style cost $22 and while you may not be able to find the exact pieces or pay the same price, if you love it, put your own spin on it.  Consignment stores, Nordstrom Rack, T J Maxx, Ross, and department store clearance sales all carry treasures if you look hard enough and are patient.

Red Jeans – Jordache – WalMart – $3 clearance – I can’t usually buy jeans at WalMart but it was worth a shot and they worked. Plus they’re red! Need I say more?

White wedges – Pulse – Deb – $5 – end of summer clearance sales are awesome and these wedges have lasted 2 years and counting. I think they are on their way out but for $5  I think I got my money’s worth out of them.

Red Bow earrings – Artifact – $10. The beauty of accessories is that while I paid $10 for them I can wear them with several different outfits, making that $10 stretch.
