I was contacted about a new delivery service that has hit the Philly area. Think restaurant delivery but with a whole list of area restaurants in one place. BringMeThat.com is here and building its place in our area. No, not a physical place but its online business. I was offered a free meal to try it out and I said sign me up! Don’t have to cook for an evening? BringMeThat!
Since BringMeThat is a fledgling in our area they are still growing businesses and menus but they had about 8 local restaurants to choose from – Chinese, Greek, and pizza. I just checked again and they are up to 12 restaurants. We chose Greek because there is a little Greek restaurant just down the road we have been wanting to try. Another great restaurant I will DEFINITELY be ordering from is Great China. We like their fried rice and the delivery fee is $1. Well worth the 25 minutes we save in traveling.
Sign up was incredibly easy and a few minutes later I was seeing what they had to offer. Once you enter your address it narrows the restaurant selections down to restaurants that will deliver to your address. This is another thing I love because I get tired of calling restaurants to order and finding out they won’t deliver to us. As I was perusing the online menus a little chat box popped up and a friendly customer service associate for BringMeThat asked if I needed any help. He promptly answered my questions and I clicked order. I received a message with my confirmation number and a note that stated I would receive an email when the restaurant received and verified my order. Sure enough, 5 minutes later I received an email verification and delivery time.
There is a very small service fee that varies by restaurant and each restaurant can set delivery limits, i.e. minimum $10 order, etc. I liked it because it made ordering so much easier Not only does it give me ideas of where to order but lets me try something I wouldn’t necessarily think of otherwise.
By the way, Mythos Restaurant has friendly and prompt delivery service and the gyros were huge and yummy.
Overall I give BringMeThat.com 3.5 stars out of 5. As they get bigger and the menus get filled out they will definitely get another star added. Next time you want to order delivery, sign up for BringMeThat.com, like them on Facebook to get $5 off your first order, then sit back and wait for your meal to arrive.
What’s your favorite meal to have delivered?
