**Company no longer exists.**

I registered with Zaycon Foods last month and ordered 40# of boneless skinless chicken breast at $1.49#.  The next best thing since I can’t afford  organic. I highly recommend  registering with them. They only deliver to an area every so often but if we can get enough people registered locally they will actually deliver locally which would be much nicer then driving to Lebanon!!! If you aren’t local, register and they will let you know when they are making deliveries to your area.  I hope they deliver here again with some of their different products.  You can register via the link above.

Besides the drive it was easier than going to the grocery store. We drove up beside their truck, they opened the door, put the chicken in, shut the door, checked our name off the list and waved us on.

We picked up 3 other people’s orders which helped with gas plus we went to BB’s (Bent and Dent store) on the way and Shady Maple(not the schmorgasbord, just the market) on the way home.

I am very happy with the meat quality. The chicken was in pretty much the same shape you get at grocery stores.  After several hours of trimming chicken, cutting it to the sizes I wanted, and dividing it out into freezer bags, here is my inventory list:

3 bags shredded cooked chicken for soups, enchiladas, tacos, etc.
1 bag chicken stirfry strips
2 bags chicken stirfry, teriyaki sauce (nothing better then freezing it in the marinade.
saves time later)
1 bag balsamic chicken breast
3 8 packs of chicken breast (I cut it in half thickness wise for better portion sizes)
1 baja chipotle chicken
1 Jamaican Jerk chicken (YUM!! Wegman’s has the best marinades)
1 bag chicken pieces for soup
1 chicken fingers meal (I breaded it with matzo meal and baked them for easy lunches)
1 chicken nuggets meal (same as above)
1 bag BBQ chicken strips
1 crockpot full of chicken noodle soup for dinner and then some.

I cooked the shredded chicken overnight in the crockpot on low with about 4 cups of water. By this afternoon it was so easy to shred. I barely picked it up and it fell apart.
