If you have kids I am sure you hear the age old question “What’s for dinner?” as often as I do. They are never happy when I say “I don’t know” or all make a million and one suggestions that require a lot of work. Having a menu plan solves that problem and I always feel so much better about my week when I have a menu plan going into it.

I don’t always stick to it and definitely need to get better at pulling my meat out of the freezer ahead of time but when I have a plan I am more likely to make sure dinner is cooked and on the table versus throw something random together that isn’t very balanced. This week I am throwing in “breakfast for dinner” because it’s always a nice change-up and for some reason the kids think it’s the best dinner ever. Shhh, don’t tell them we aren’t the only ones who do it. They think it’s our own “invention”.
