I’m not really a fan of Wednesdays. That’s the day I work outside the home. It isn’t the job I mind. It’s the fact that several Tuesdays a month we are out until 11 PM and every Thursday I have to be out of the house by 9:15, sometimes earlier. This means that I am up super early on little sleep, work cleaning houses for 3-5 hours, come home, do school with the kids, make dinner and get ready for the next day – lunches, clothes, play dough for the preschool class in our co-op.
Today is especially brutal. Thankfully no 11 PM last night, but work, dinner, school, play dough, plus some things that needed turned in for school and the computer wasn’t cooperating, I have snacks for co-op tomorrow, and I need to get craft/coloring pages ready. Plus I am the genius who forgot to run to the grocery store for some co-op needs.
So for tomorrow’s snack menu I have –
Crackers and cheese
Grapefruit bread – except I made it in a bundt pan
Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins (recipe to come)
Maybe something chocolate if I have time in the morning.
And, the boys have been pestering me about Valentine’s day cards for their classmates. Brilliant me saw a super cute idea and decided to make chocolate covered marshmallows to surprise the boys. I wanted to put them on lollipop sticks like the ones I saw but I don’t have those and wasn’t thinking about it. I dipped the tops in melted German chocolate and then in crushed peppermints.I pinned it on Pinterest but right now I am too exhausted to find it. I will try to add credit to the person who gave me the idea tomorrow. For now, I am going to go finish making my million mini muffins.
