Ever take a family vacation and feel miserable with a cold you caught on what seemed like day one? I’ve been there…more times than I can count…but not this time.

I love to travel – always have. By plane, train, or automobile, I love to see the world around me. But more often than not, I’m searching for the closest pharmacy or grocery store to buy some cold remedy or other. My husband can attest to the fact that I drag out my misery in a persistence to not take medication for far too long.

Not this time. When Myrtol® 300 reached out to my friend Laura and I to partner with us on our #PNWFoodRoadTrip (check it out on Twitter and Instagram. It’s our road trip travel channel) we jumped at the opportunity to do whatever we could to try to stay healthy and enjoy the views along the way.

For real. Imagine 2 women with colds trapped in a car for hundreds of miles. If that sounds like a good time to you….

Nope. Not happening if I could help it. After I took a look at the Myrtol® 300 website, I was all in. What could it hurt? After all, it’s been available in Europe for over 40 years and is comprised of all-natural ingredients with essential oils (eucalyptus, sweet orange, lemon, and myrtle) that are approved for use in dietary supplements.

I was especially thrilled that I could take 2 pills once a day because I’m terrible at the “take this every 4-6 hours or every 12 hours” nonsense. Who tracks time that well when they’re traveling, let alone traveling in a fog? Because let’s face it, when you have a cold everything feels a little foggy, not to mention grumpy and irritable.

And it really was that easy. I simply added it to my morning routine – before coffee, at that, since it recommends you take it 30 minutes before a meal with a glass of cold liquid. I can only imagine something hot would dissolve the capsule too fast. And really, any reason for me to drink more water made Laura quite happy. No amount of water is enough for that lady. (haha)

While I can’t make any health claims, I can say that I didn’t get sick this trip and that’s a win. I literally ALWAYS get sick – between being trapped on a plane with lots of people and traveling through different climates and elevations.

Yes, you can purchase Myrtol 300 in the USA now. Visit their website for more information and to order it for yourself.
