I love to learn. In fact, I will be the first to admit that I love learning new things so much it sometimes trumps actually putting what I learned into action. I have found that sometimes learning and putting what I learned into action is best when I learn in bite sized pieces so I seek out mini  conferences whenever I get the chance. In just a few weeks I am headed to NYC for the SoFabU on the Road learning event.

SoFabU on the Road NYC - Real: The Kitchen and Beyond

Disclaimer: I am writing this post in exchange for a discounted conference ticket; however, all opinions are mine and mine alone.

Hey bloggers! If you’re reading this, want to go too? Keep reading.

Hey readers! Want a peek into what a girl does to make the pretty of this website happen? I’ll give you a snapshot.

If you are a blogger and you wonder if spending the money for a mini conference like this is worth it between transportation, a ticket, and any food you might need, YES! Yes a thousand times over. SoFabU on the Road NYC is a chance for you to learn in a small group. This means you get to network better, build personal relationships, ask questions, and not get lost in the crowd. It’s worth it. I promise you.

So what will you learn? First, check out hashtags #SoFabUOTR and #cbias to see what’s been shared and learned around the country already. Second, check out the website for an overview of what we will be learning in NYC. Third, the keynote speaker of the event is Jessica Woodbury, and she will be speaking on how to use SEO to supercharge your blog. There will also be sessions on email marketing, sponsored posts, networking, and other fun additions. Finally, ever feel like people don’t quite “get” what you do? You’ll be in a room full of YOU. When you start throwing words like SEO and html around you won’t need to explain your foreign language. So bloggers? There are only 50 seats TOTAL. Get your ticket. Be there. Let’s meet up on June 20th between 8:30-9:00 for registration at 54 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018.

If you are a reader, these conferences are what make me better at sharing. They help me bring better stories, better images, a better experience to YOU. They are where I learn not to throw up words on a screen, how to make an image sparkle, and how to make sure you can see it once it’s done.

I can’t wait to connect with friends and meet new ones!

A big thank you to national sponsors  MüllerKraft and iBlog for sponsoring this on the road series.
