This is one of the easiest recipes ever. Also one of my favorites!! I generally will make it as leftovers after we have cooked a ham. Pop it in and dinner is ready when you are. Just grab a loaf of Italian bread or make some biscuits. In fact, I have a super easy make ahead and freeze biscuit recipe I will share next week.

Chopped/ diced Ham (not sandwich) – however much you want. I use approximately 1 ham steak worth. You can also just stick 2 ham hocks in and once it is cooked down, tear the meat into smaller pieces.
Cubed Potatoes – I use 3 small or 2 large per person
Chopped onion – 1 medium
Diced/minced garlic – 3 cloves (Because everything is better with garlic)
Green beans – 2 cans drained or 1 bag frozen(frozen is better)
Water to cover about 1 inch over ingredients
NO SALT
A few twists of the pepper grinder

Throw it all in, set it on low for 6 hours OR MORE and you have dinner. If you have a crockpot with the remove-able crock you can prepare the night before. Makes morning rush even easier.
