Have you noticed the orange “Yum” button on my recipe images? Today I’m sharing what that button is and why you want to use Yummly.

Yummly chosen for you

Ever have a recipe that makes you say “yum” before you even try it? There’s a site for easy “Yumming”. From recipes you want to try to recipes you’ve fallen in love with, there’s a Yum for that. Whether you want an online account with just recipes, need inspiration for certain ethnic dishes or ingredients, or want an easy way to follow your favorite food blogger’s recipe posts, Yummly is an easy way to discover, use, and then save those yummable recipes.

One of the things I love is that Yummly only has recipes. No searching through fashion, crafts, etc. for a new recipe. I also love that it is so easy to use and customize to diet, allergies, and preferences. As you can see in the images below, when you fill out your profile it has several options where you can select the recipes you do or do not want to see.

Once you get started you can either ‘Yum’ recipes right from the image on a post, through an extension you can add if you use Google Chrome, or directly from my publisher’s page, which you can find here.

One of my favorite features on Yummly is the fact that they use the recipes I’ve recently Yum’med and suggest other recipes I might enjoy. I’ve discovered some new super yummy recipes that way.

Food blogger? See here for how YOU can become a publisher on Yummly too! You’ll love all the new people that discover your recipes this way.

Do you Yum? Share the link to your recipe box in comments so I can discover some new recipes!

  1. I was on Yummly for the first time on Monday in order to find a baked ziti recipe. I have to head back into it and play around some more to see what I can find.
