Son 1 has a CuddleUppet. Al the Alligator is one of his best accessories. He uses it to keep warm in the car, when he is doing schoolwork, and of course, plays with it. A CuddleUppet is great for playing puppet or for keeping warm. I love it because instead of them hauling their big blankets around they can use their CuddleUppets, which take up much less space. The only problem we have is 3 kids and 1 CuddleUppet, so when I was offered a free CuddleUppet to review I jumped at the chance.
Next, how does a mama decide which kid will get the next CuddleUppet? Well, how is a mom to choose? CuddleUppets come in 8 different creatures, Pink Poodle, Blue Elephant, Purple Monkey, Yellow Puppy, Brown Bear, Green Crocodile, Pink Ladybug and Magic Unicorn. I had to give three top choices so I selected the Purple Monkey, Pink Poodle, and Blue Elephant. Then I made the deal with my kids that if we got a “girly color” it would go to the girl since my boy doesn’t like pink whatsoever, and if it was BLUE, it would go to the boy since my girl DOES NOT LIKE BLUE! HMPH!
Son 2 was lucky. We received the blue elephant. Daughter one and only was not happy. I told her to ask for it for Christmas. They are the perfect gift for a kid. Soft, cuddly, warm, and creative play all in one bundle. I have been very happy with the quality of these blanket/puppets. Poor Al has been dragged every and in the week we have had Ellie she has put on some serious mileage also. They are still soft and colorful, no rips, tears, or scars to be seen.Thankfully CuddleUppets are machine washable. (It always surprises me how many kids stuffed animals aren’t.) This is especially important when you have a kid who is allergic to dust as it will need washed very often.
My kids love playing with them. In a mock fight, who wins? The alligator or the elephant? They have quite the debate over each animal’s characteristics and what makes their animal the clear winner.As long as there is no fight i am quite happy to listen to that kind of noise.
