What plans do you have this weekend? I have too many, I can tell you that. However, if you are looking for something fun to do with your family, here are some great events to check out.
“A Very Furry Christmas” at Sesame Place – grab your camera, your kids, and have an afternoon of FURRY fun. This is the perfect time of year to do Sesame Place. The lines are shorter, the weather cooler and Sesame Place Characters have NOT gone into hibernation. Corny, I know. Make sure you stay for the parade. Well worth it and the perfect length for young kids.
Second Saturday for Families on East Passyunk Ave. (Philadelphia). Here is another thing I would love to be doing if it wasn’t such a crazy busy weekend for us. We absolutely loved our visit to East Passyunk Avenue and I hear it’s only getting bigger and better. Santa is visiting the Avenue so bring that camera! Events and discounts are happening all up and down the Ave. so get some of your holiday shopping out of the way and help a local business at the same time. More information HERE but I hear there will be free parking after 11 AM! Be sure to check out Sermania Jewelers, All Things Handmade, Ms. Goody, Fuel, and Alphabet Garden among a host of other great little stores. They will be collecting new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots if you want to donate a toy.
Alex and The Kaleidoscope Band is in concert December 9th, 4:30 PM at Steel City Coffeehouse, Phoenixville, PA. Fun for your kids and you! Go enjoy an evening of upbeat kids’ music with Alex Mitnik and The Kaleidoscope Band. With fun songs your kids are sure to remember this evening. Oh, and don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win his CD “I’m So Glad”.
Have fun!! I would love to know what fun things you do this weekend.
