Philly Cheese Steak and Rice Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. chipped steak
  • 3 cups cooked rice – ready serve packets make this easier when camping
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium high heat.
  2. Chop onions and peppers and mince garlic, then add to heated oil in pan.
  3. Saute pepper, onion, and garlic until soft.
  4. Add chipped beef and fry.
  5. When meat is just finished, add cooked rice and cream.
  6. Stir constantly until rice is heated through and cream is thickened.
