Technically we’ve been doing this 14 weeks, but since I didn’t write up my menu plan 2 different weeks (hey, hotel living with freezer meals rocks budget wise but can be a little interesting and tent living is simply an adventure!), we are on Operation: Eat Down the Freezer, Meal Plan 12.
We’re on Day 7 of tent camping and all our meals need to be made over a campfire, in the slow cooker, or on a camp stove. This is interesting and a little more complicated but if I can make these meals one of these 3 ways you can make them in your own kitchen.
Breakfast Plan
- Brunch – bacon, pancakes, and eggs
- Cereal
- Corn Crumble (recipe coming)
- Parfaits
- Oatmeal
- Cereal
- Eggs and Toast
Lunch Plan
- Brunch
- Sandwiches, carrots, fruit
- Sandwiches, tortilla chips, carrots, and ice cream
- Sandwiches, cheese, tortilla chips
- Peanut butter celery, cherries, pretzels and hummus
- Hummus and cucumber sandwiches, vegetables
- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, leftover soup
Dinner Plan
- Spicy Garlic London Broil, tortilla chips and guacamole
- Beef roast with potatoes, carrots, and celery
- Chicken Caesar Salad and Bread (with friends)
- Philly Cheese Steak and Rice Skillet and S’mores
- Salad with Steak
- Beef soup and bread
- Dinner at church
