I received an email about the NY Birthday Show being held at the New York Hall of Science on October 20 from 10AM-4PM. My husband has to work that day and for some crazy reason I thought why not? I will pack the kids into the van and go for a day trip to New York City. Okay, so maybe there were a lot of “crazy reasons”.
Like crazy reason number one, Carlo’s Bake Shop of Hoboken, NJ, maybe better known as Buddy from the Cake Boss, will be there. Or maybe because crazy reason #2 is how AWESOME does it sound to have a GINORMOUS birthday party in a Science Hall? Then there is crazy reason #3, the DIY Party workshop gallery because I love throwing a party and want to learn more great ideas and tips, and don’t forget crazy reason #4, some insanely amazing giveaways exclusive for attendees, some of which are exclusive to advanced ticket holders.

The question won’t be “is there enough to do for 6 hours?” But “what shall we do first?”
With cupcake decorating, performers, science displays, birthday party workshops, miniature golf, the science playground, and only like 100 other things, I’m not sure where we are going first. All I know is it is going to be one awesome day with lots of sugar, crafts, and fun. We definitely will be making use of the miniature golf to burn off some of that sugar before our ride home.
