We had a lot of fun in 2012 – places we went, businesses we bought from, friends who have been successful. I have been reflecting on this year and all the things I have loved about it.
There are too many to count but here are some of my favorites –
My friend Cathy’s gorgeous jewelry. Cathy’s Creations Jewelry was a “hobby” just a few years ago. Thanks to a great online community and love made into each piece of jewelry, Cathy’s Creations Jewelry is a culture. More than just a business she has built her online store into a place to help so many causes and people. The love and tears on her page have made the world a much better place as she builds awareness and friends all over the world.
My dear sweet friend Mary is a ray of sunshine and a blessing to everyone she meets. Her hats bring joy to so many people and my daughter has loved the ones we were blessed to purchase. If I could I would have a houseful of “Mary Originals“.
My friend Hallee, is an awesome-est Christian AUTHOR. Her craft is with food and words and I do love her words (and her recipes). She writes such perfectly lovely books that are full of romance and twists but most of all so full of God’s grace and love. She is truly blessed among women.
We checked out Palette Kids in Philadelphia, discovered the joy of sunny days at Sesame Place, toured East Passyunk Avenue and Ben FM, laughed and cried with Hallmark Moments, taste tested Honest Tea and Sweetgreen, and saw Carrie Underwood. We bundled up to volunteer at Tuckerton Seaport post Hurricane Sandy, and glammed it up for food and fun at Williams and Sonoma.
We reviewed Cuddleuppets, The Oogieloves, Alex and The Kaleidoscope Band, Virtual Piggy, Green Mama, and Atlantic City Air Show.
I could go crazy with all the recipes we tried and other things we have seen and done but that’s enough for now. All in all, we had a great year full of adventure, fun, and tasty food.
I can’t wait to see what lies ahead of us in 2013!!
