Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Homemade chocolate syrup is just as easy as buying it in the store and tastes even better.

Ingredients
- 1 cup raw/turbinado sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder – use good cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon real vanilla
- 1 cup water
- Whisk together all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook on medium, stirring frequently until mixture is combined well.
- Stir constantly until thickened, approximately 10 minutes.
- Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
1 heaping spoonful added to hot milk makes amazing hot cocoa.
