Ingredients
- 1 Ham Bone
- 8 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dried portabellos
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 cups diced ham
- 2 cups lentils
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 TBS. dried parsley
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper
- Put ham bone, water, onion, and garlic in slow cooker overnight (or 8 hours on low).
- Remove ham bone.
- Add diced ham, lentils, vegetables, spices, and herbs.
- Slow cook on high for 4-6 hours.
