Who loves music and is ready to kick off the season of outdoor concerts? If you could see me I would be raising both hands to that! I am so excited to be attending Wyebrook Farm Music Festival this weekend with my family. In full disclosure, I was given a ticket in exchange for coverage. What fun would going by myself be? I’m taking the whole family and making a great Happy Birthday Weekend to ME!

When I grew up I wanted to be a singer. I pictured myself as a moody reflective teenager who furiously wrote poetry and music. As a 15 year old, I spent a whole summer working weekends to buy the guitar of my dreams and took lessons as much as I could.
I didn’t become a singer but I still love music. Most people likely don’t know that my first love was always music and my second love was food. Those roles have swapped but there is still music playing as much as possible in this house.

My love of food and music are why I am so excited to be going to the Wyebrook Farm Music Festival this weekend -good food, good music. What’s not to love?
One of my favorite things about Wyebrook Farm is that they serve organic and locally sourced products. This weekend we will get to enjoy their great farm-fresh food, prepared by Chef Andrew Wood. They are shutting the farm to the public for the day, but will have their eateries open exclusively for ticket holders and will also have several food stands set up throughout the venue. They do not serve alcohol but you are welcome to BYOB.

They have a great lineup of local artists who will be taking the stage and providing the day’s entertainment from 11 AM – 7 PM, with gates opening at 10 AM. Check out the day’s line-up. Come early and stake out your spot.
Are you ready to celebrate a gorgeous spring day with us? Well, we are hoping it’s gorgeous anyway. Rain or shine the show will go on. Grab some lawn chairs and bring a cooler of your favorite drinks.
