We made it! Frugal meal planning meal plan 12 is finally here. We made it through 3 months of frugal meal planning and still managed to eat quite well. I was hoping to have more new recipes to share but life kind of got in the way and we fell back on some older favorites while adding a few new ones.
Next week we will be starting our new series on quick and easy meals. I will be doing this meal plan with just dinner meals but may throw in some breakfasts or lunches here and there. I will also be throwing in tips for how you can make your easy meal planning a smashing success by always being prepared for that crazy whirlwind morning or unplanned evening. This one will be a mix of old favorites and newly inspired dishes. We are also going to be using that crock pot so pull it out and dust it off this week. We’re going to be cooking quick and easy.
But now for our final frugal meal plan. I do hate endings but they are always good if they are happy and I would like to think this is the happiest kind of ending. After all, I just made a meal plan every week for 12 weeks straight. I think that’s a record.
Breakfast Meal Plan
Day 1: Pancake Egg Sandwiches – I’m leaving chocolate chips out of this batch, but I might throw in some blueberries, then we”ll put an egg between 2 pancakes and off we go for church.
Day 2: Apple and Oats Yogurt Parfait – our newest recipe is THE.BEST.RECIPE.EVER.
Day 3: Homemade Granola
Day 4: Portabella Jarlsberg Egg
Day 5: Homemade Granola
Day 6: Cinnamon farro with raisins and sunflower seeds
Day 7: Crepes stuffed with cream cheese filling and berries, topped with chocolate syrup and a side of bacon
Lunch Meal Plan
Day 1: Beef and Mushroom Soup over noodles and lemony green beans
Day 2: Salad in a Jar
Day 3: Peanut Butter sandwiches with celery and carrot stick, pretzels, and hummus
Day 4: Salad in a Jar
Day 5: Salad in a Jar
Day 6: Tuna Sandwiches with baby carrots and peanut butter apples
Dinner Meal Plan
Day 1: Pitas stuffed with cucumber, lettuce, hummus, and shredded radish, with fresh fruit
Day 4: Tuna Steak with Wasabi Lime Aoli, brown rice, and broccoli
Day 5: Bean Burritos with a side salad
Day 6: Chicken Caesar Salad (moved from last week)
Day 7: Roast Beef and Cheddar Pizza with a side salad
