Frugal Food Tip of the Week
The other day while I was at the store some one was talking about a predicament they had. She won a 15 pound turkey and it was “too much” for her family. My predicament is the opposite. The turkey’s never big enough. Best deal is a free one, right? The best way to save on meat is to stock and freeze when it’s on sale. Wrap it well before freezing, and you have time to use it later. Otherwise you are missing out on a wealth of opportunity to save, save, save. You can thank me for that frugal tip later when you see just how much doing this will cut down on your budget. I love making soups and easy meals with my leftover turkey.
