Our nomadic life is coming to an end! August 23rd is move in day. The week is going to be full of cleaning, painting, and moving in so I’m preparing now.

I know the biggest time and money suck tends to be meals when we move but I also know we have a laundry list of things we will need to spend our money on, so I am meal planning now and prepping ahead with freezer meals to save on time stress, and the budget. Instead of dinner costing us $20-$40 each night, it will cost us $5-$7 and so much less time.

Moving Week Freezer Meal Plan

  • Salad, baked tortilla chips with cheese melted on them
  • Lemony Rice and Garbanzo Bean Salad
  • Lunch out
  • Sandwiches, vegetables
  • Frozen pizza (bought premade)
  • Leftovers
  • Pizza or subs (big item moving day with helpers)

  • Sandwiches, chips, vegetables
  • Lemony Tuna, Rice, and Garbanzo Bean Warm Salad (Make ahead and freeze: doubled the batch of above then froze the base. Warm up with tuna added.)
  • Kielbasa, pepper, and broccoli bake (Make ahead and freeze)
  • Lemon Garlic Mushroom Chicken over rice, steamed honey glazed carrots (Make ahead and freeze: chicken and rice)
  • Beef, Lentil, and Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie (Make ahead and freeze base then prep mashed potatoes.)
