Frugal Food Tip of the Week

Welcome to Fabulously Frugal Thursday. Did you know a great way to stretch your meat is to add mashed up beans or finely chopped mushrooms? Most times the picky eaters can’t even tell if you mix it in well enough. It’s a great way to add protein and nutrients without forking out so much money on meat. Haha. Get it? Forking out? Okay. Enough of the lame attempt at being funny. Here is one of our favorite dishes that incorporates 16 ounces of black beans in place of 1 pound of meat. Oh Black Bean Meatloaf how I love thee, and my budget does too.
