Fabulously Frugal Thursday is here again and I have to say that last week’s Valentine’s Day was frugal but not as frugal as I intended. We budgeted for $30 and spent $48. The bottle of wine put us over but that’s okay because I had a little “free” money that covered it. We had grass fed steak, lobster tail shrimp, salad, and baked potato for dinner. No way could we have had as nice a dinner at a restaurant for that price.
So now we are moving on from Valentine’s Day and since I am wistfully thinking of spring, I am also thinking of spring cleaning. Any one do that anymore? I have a list of DIY cleaning supplies that make spring cleaning more frugal, not only with money but environmentally. Have you tried any of these ideas yet?
Now on to a fabulously frugal Thursday link up. Each week we pick frugal posts to feature and this week we picked SIX out of 74 posts. Each post is frugal in its own way but these ones especially stood out to us. Check them out then add your own frugal link to this week’s post. Will you be chosen next week?
