One question I get asked all the time is “How do you do it all?” The answer is, “I don’t.” I can’t possibly keep all my plates spinning without something shattering.

CoSchedule - How I keep my blogging plates spinning - effective tools for blogging

This post is my review of CoSchedule. I get a discount for a service I love and you (bloggers) get to see why you need CoSchedule too!

Shattering plates is not a fun place to be, and cleaning them up takes even more valuable time. That’s why I am always looking for things that can help me help myself. I’ve been eye’ing CoSchedule for months now as friends have been raving about it, but didn’t want to commit to an added expense.

Blogging looks free and easy, but boy, when you are in it for the long haul, it isn’t. There are definitely expenses if you want to grow and expand as a small business, just like in any other business.

I’m not in a place where I can hire someone to take on some of the small jobs that take up valuable minutes and I’m somewhat of a control freak. I like to know what I’m saying and how I’m saying it. With that, it was time. Time to take the plunge and give CoSchedule a try.

And I have been – for three weeks. I am not a fan of automating things. I like everything that goes out to be in my voice, and oftentimes schedulers feel inhuman, automatic posts lacking personality. That’s what drew me to this scheduler, or shall I say, that lack of impersonality.

With CoSchedule I can share what I want to say to my readers without adding extra steps. I can do so right within the place I create the post and that is gold. Instead of flipping from one social media channel to the next, I can create messages right within my blog post’s framework – Facebook and Twitter are my favorite!

It also helps me avoid the inevitable distraction that often makes me forget to share what I have to say or that next greatest #cookeasy recipe I’ve been working on. Then months later I realize, ‘Oops! I did it again….’

Blogger friends, it is THAT EASY! For ‘really and a day’ as my kids would say, it will be the best money you spend on your everyday business. You can be present with your audience, be authentic with your audience, keep those plates spinning a little easier, and not forget to share your newest and best with the world.

You can sign up right here. Yes, that’s my affiliate link.

Need to see how easy it is? I set my account up with just a few simple clicks. It’s set up to walk you through the first time. Then I just got to doing what I do best – writing. Once my post is written I scroll down and add what I want to send out, schedule it, and go!

The other thing I really love? The calendar that helps me stay organized. I always INTEND to be organized but this calendar is super helpful. I can put in blog titles for the days I want to post about a certain thing then go in, write the post, and schedule it.

It helps me to get a visual of the big picture and make sure I’m not missing anything. Of course, sometimes the post doesn’t happen the day I want it to, but that’s okay. Nothing is set until I hit schedule and I can rearrange as need be. It also shows me what I am posting and where.

And with that I really need to go test out that new corn cupcake recipe with sour cream frosting that I’ve been dreaming of.
