Last week we went way over because of poor planning and unexpectedly being on the road at meal times. These all take a bite into this week’s $100 budget. Good thing we didn’t use everything I ended up buying, some of which was purchased at the end of the week in case we had company for more meals than I had originally planned.
- Breakfast Friday since we didn’t have time to make it: $15.00
- Wegmans: $19.23 (bought coffee beans, mushrooms, muffins, and donuts)
OVERAGE FOR LAST WEEK: $34.23
Ouch! Luckily for us my in-laws brought us corn on the cob, watermelon, apples, a few cucumbers, and a few tomatoes. We’re going to need all the help we can get this week. However, we are also going on a short weekend vacation. Will we still be able to stockpile some food? I have my eye on those Brussels sprouts…
