Last week went so-so. I had $20 extra to use toward our stockpile but I ended up using it so we could grab prepared food one day instead. We’ve been trying to knock out a lot of immediate projects and get the house unpacked and that was a lifesaver. This week we buckled down on our stockpiling meal plan because I need to get that stockpile growing.
Fall produce is coming in so I’ve been blanching and freezing broccoli and cauliflower this week as you will see from my groceries. Also, I have some chicken left from last week and we didn’t use the beef cubes so those were moved to this week’s menu, which helps me save on meat.
