ALDI Exton Opened {It’s a Deal}

A few weeks ago I saw there was an ALDI store going in in Exton, PA. Last night we had to do some shopping out that way and it was OPEN.  ALDI is a “discount grocery”. It sells some name brand but a majority of its products are generic. Many of them taste just the same as name brand. You just have to try them and see which ones. I am guessing that is because many of their products are actually made by name brand companies.

I haven’t been in Aldi since we moved here, almost 5 years ago. We frequented one in Vermont but there were none close to us once we moved.  The beauty of a brand new store is that it is shiny bright and has the best. Aldi Exton does not disappoint.

Their produce prices are just as cheap or in some cases, cheaper than our local discount produce stores and they are a great resource for baking items, cheese and dairy, even fish. They have quite a selection of wild caught fish and their quality has always been as good as the local grocery store. One of my favorite sections is the cheese area. They have a huge selection of “fancier” cheeses. You just don’t pay quite as much as you would in other stores.

Tips:

1. Take your own bags. They do not provide them.

2. Take a quarter for the cart and remember to return it to get the quarter back.

3. Take cash. You can only use cash or a debit card.

4. Don’t crazy. Stay within your budget.
