I try to only go to the store once a week and then i go to multiple stores to get the best prices.

i wish the stores down here did points. My local grocery store – Publix really does not have any competitors so they do not offer squat! I would love to save more other than using coupons.
It is important to shop smart even for major holiday meals like Thanksgiving. By shopping smart, we can do more big meals throughout the year and spread the love.

Definitely a good time to buy on sale and freeze things! I also fire up the crockpot all month long and make EASY and cheap dinners and freeze half for busy December. Great tips, and I’m off to check out the Whole Foods ideas!

Our local grocery store just released a sale where if you spend so much you get a free Turkey! No kidding. I’m so excited, cause we will be spending the price on our monthly shopping trip come next week! So yeah, Free Turkey!

Very true! I have to go through coupons and try to maximize to get my free turkey and a ton more than $100 for $100. I have a coupon for 300 bonus points when I spend $100 at our new Giant PA.
When we were at Gentile’s 2 weeks ago, they had a good deal on fresh cranberries. We grabbed a few bags for the freezer since we knew we would need them for cranberry sauce.
Good deal! I need to get to Gentile’s. Aldi has them for $0.99. They are so easy to throw into the freezer. I love to stock up and have them for winter.
