cleaning bathroom quickly

If you let your house go it can take forever to clean up, and really, if you let your bathroom go it gets really gross. Even worse is what you can’t see – the germs lurking everywhere. In between full cleans it doesn’t hurt to do a quick clean up. Super quick, super easy, and under 10 minutes.

Get your cleaner and a rag, and let’s go!

Spray down your tub and shower wall.
Squirt/dump some cleaner in the toilet – I have been using my Homemade Laundry Soap
Spray the sink.
Spray the toilet seat under the seat, and around the base.
Rinse down the tub/shower.
Wipe the smudges off the mirror with your rag.
Wet your rag.
Wipe down the sink.
Rinse your rag.
Wipe down the toilet seat.
Wipe under the toilet seat.
Wipe the base.
Rag in the trash or dirty rag bucket.
Scrub the toilet bowl.
Flush.
Done.
Have a few extra minutes?

Give your bathroom a quick sweep and you are ready to move on for the day.
This should take 10 minutes or less and make your regular weekly, biweekly, or whenever it gets done cleaning much easier. Plus you killed off a few germs. Trust me, there were more lurking than you care to know.

I prefer to use an all purpose bathroom cleaner for this. I would love to use something natural that works well but I haven’t found something yet that I am confident does the job well.

  1. Thanks for the helpful ideas! I’ve found method shower spray plus a wet Norwex rag does wonders on shower scum! I’m with you, still not there on natural toilet bowl cleaners, but there are some great thyme and oregano based disinfecting sprays that I trust enough for the seat etc.
