I love shopping clearance racks. Yesterday while we were in WalMart I decided to see what was on clearance. In all honesty I feel like after 2 boys go through the clothes they hold up pretty much just as well as any other store. In fact, they hold up better than Old Navy in my opinion. They have quite a bit of clearance kids’ clothing – summer and winter.
*cute jumper/blouse set -$5 (clearance tag said $7 I said maybe it’s $5, take that honey, I was right)
*skinny jeans with gold flower and guitar embroidered on it – $5 (the guitar sold me)
*2 black sweaters for the boys – $3 each
* Bermudas for Hanna – $3
*2 long sleeve shirts for the boys – $3 each
*2 super cute plaid button ups for Hanna – $3 each
Total – $31 for 9 items, and average of 3.45 per item. My gauge for what to buy is based on what I would pay for used clothing at a kid’s consignment sale on items that while used, have a better name. I usually go to $5 on jeans, $3 on polo or long sleeve “nice-ish” shirts, $5 on dresses, $5 for sweaters, and $3 for Hanna shirts. All of these fit that criteria AND are really cute. I dislike settling on clothes I don’t care for but I don’t care about brand name – just look and how they hold up.
