Great sale on Pillsbury products? You know, cookie dough, cinnamon rolls, rolls in the can?
They are SO expensive full price but if that is something you buy, when it’s the best deal ever –
Stock up and FREEZE!!!
Cookie dough should be able to go straight in the freezer. I would just stick it in a freezer bag for added protection.
Anything in the peel open/blow up can should be pulled out, wrapped in plastic, and then thrown in a freezer bag. If you individually wrap them you can then pull 1 or 2 out if you don’t want the whole pack. They also won’t stick together as bad. In the past I have pulled them from the freezer appr. 30 minutes before I wanted to bake them.
Crescent rolls I would pull out and unroll. Lay them on plastic with approximately one inch plastic over lapping the dough’s edge and roll it up so that the plastic is between each layer. Stick the cylinder of dough in a freezer bag.
I do not know how long it is “good for” but I would use them within 3 months with no problem.
Make sure to label each bag with product name, date, and cooking instructions.
I REPEAT: DO NOT FREEZE THEM IN THE BLOW UP CAN! DISASTER!!!
