Hello, all! We’re finishing up our road trip plans and I need YOU to weigh in. I really want to explore some of the food and drink the different areas we will be visiting have. While I can always hit the search engine to find  recommendations, search engines only do so much good. I would love your recommendations on what we should taste while we are there. If you live there, if you visited, or dream of what you would try if you visited, I want your suggestions.

  1. If you happen to be driving across Arizona on I-40 and you go through Holbrook, Romo’s has be best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Just a couple of minutes off the highway.

I didn’t think the food options at the Grand Canyon (South Rim) itself were that great. I’m guessing because vendors are pretty limited by it being in the National Park. I say bring a picnic or something along if you can and save your money for something else. That was four years ago though, so it could have improved.

In Flagstaff, AZ we enjoyed Beaver Street Brewery. We love pub-type food though.

Also, as a side note unrelated to food…we LOVED Sedona. Great (free!) hikes. Absolutely beautiful. Not sure if you are going there, but would absolutely recommend it.

Where in Kentucky?? I can give some Louisville recommendations, but not sure if that’s where you will be.

Looks like you are going to have a blast!
