As I have said in the past I love learning new things. The day I stop learning is the day I die. Today I had the opportunity to go to a great workshop designed to learn all about making my blog better. If you ever explored the world of blogging you KNOW it is never ending. it is so easy to go into information overload and try to do too much at once. Technical terms alone are enough to swamp a person. Not me of course. No, no, no. Never talking about me- I know it all already. *Ahem*
Okay, okay. I admit it. I don’t know everything there is to know about blogging – THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY! I don’t know much and today I realized I know even less than I thought I know. This led to the obvious information overload, which leads to brain soup.
You know, the moment where your brain feels like it’s going to explode. You have so many thoughts swimming around in there that it starts hurting and simply can’t contain it all? I learned so much today that I don’t even know where to start.
So, today, I’m taking my own advice ( to a new blogger. You know who you are.). Today I am starting again. One little step at a time. I’m going to build and grow and learn. Sometimes that means information overload. That’s when you store it all and break it all down. Start small, learn big. Go out and tackle whatever it is you want to learn. For one day or twenty you may feel information overload but someday you will look back and see just how far you came. One day you won’t feel like your brain is exploding anymore, but even when it is, don’t stop learning. Grab hold of every opportunity you get and hold on for dear life.
