Today we are in my library (figuratively). I have always been a reader. Well, ever since I could read, at 5. I was no more than 6 when my parents found a book from my pastor father’s library “What the Bible Says about Divorce and Remarriage” hiding underneath my pillow. No one is really sure how much I read or what I got out of it. Anyway, enough of that and on to the library of today.

I love reading but really don’t have a lot of time to do so. I also am too “cheap” to buy books generally since I have a tight budget and access to the library.  However, there was no question in my mind when Hallee Bridgeman announced her book Sapphire Ice was available to be purchased I didn’t hesitate, I hit buy immediately. Thankfully my daughter decided she wanted to snuggle up and take a nap on mommy’s arm that day which gave me an excuse to read. I read the whole book in one day.

I love that Hallee doesn’t rely on sex scenes to sell her books or to carry a poor plot line. Sapphire Ice is a well crafted storyline in the genre “edgy Christian romance”. It isn’t “just a story” but includes lessons for all of us. Robin nor Tony have had the perfect family background but each learns in different ways how God loves them and what His plan is for them as individuals and together.I could go on but I hate to give away even part of the story so check it out at the links below and enter to win your own copy.
