I made a meal for a friend today and with about 4 recipes I couldn’t decide between I opted to pull a bottle of BBQ sauce out of my cabinet. Soon I will be even better and have my own fancy shmancy homemade BBQ sauce. All part of going more “real food” but I am not wasting my stockpile so I fell back on Baby Ray’s because, well, I do love Baby Ray’s flavors.
Put chicken thighs/legs in a casserole dish
Dump a bottle or batch of your favorite BBQ sauce over it.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350 for at least 2 hours.
You can finish it off on the grill if you can actually wait that long.
Easy, messy, yummy almost fall-off-the-bone goodness. You can always make it in the crock pot too so it’s ready when you get home. Add a side of homemade mac and cheese or mashed potatoes and you have the ultimate comfort food. Vegetables? Who needs ’em?
