emeals ideas

Back to school is almost here and I am envisioning how I am NOT going to accomplish everything. The kids are already doing a subject each a day and that has been a learning curve since they all want to do so at the same time. One area of life that can be made much smoother, much easier is menu planning. eMeals comes to the rescue and it doesn’t even cost much! At just over $1 a week ($58 for the 1 year option) it is so worth it even for my frugal self to let them do the work for me.

How it works

As an eMeals affiliate I have gotten to use their menu plans and they are super convenient. You get to choose the type of meals you want and they do the work. They give you a week’s worth of dinner meal plans delivered directly to your email address and even make the shopping list for you. You can change your meal plan up every so often for something new without even cracking open a cookbook or having to think. I am really excited about their new Mediterranean Meal Plan. So far I have tried the Classic, Clean Eating, Paleo, Simple Gourmet and Slow Cooking. I have loved them ALL. The best part is if you order right now you can get a free copy of their Healthy Snack Calendar.

What you get

eMeals tailors your plan to what you choose – eating style and family size.  At $58 a year they will deliver a menu plan and shopping list to your email address However, you can add breakfast and lunch options for a little extra if you would like.  Each menu plan comes complete with recipes and the shopping list figures in what items you need.  They will even make a list based off the grocery store you shop at if you want them to. I love it because they have grocery stores from Aldi to Whole Foods listed as options and then they make the list based on what you can find at that store.

Why you need it

At $58 it is so worth not having to spend the hour or more making a meal plan. That gives you more time to spend doing what you enjoy. Another thing I love is that it is constantly giving me new dinner ideas. We get to try something new without searching for recipes. You can also try it out for less time if you want. They have 3, 6, and 12 month plans. Of course your best value is the 12 month plan but if you want to see how it works you can always sign up for the 3 month first. Back to school is crazy enough. Why not just cross one chore off without any work? Thanks to eMeals I know how I’m getting dinner on the table over the next month.

**Disclosure: I am an eMeals.com affiliate.

    1. That’s where you are so out of luck. I didn’t follow it much over the summer but with school starting I definitely planning to utilize it to the fullest.
