So the secret is out. I hate vitamins. I only liked them as a kid when my parents would buy those quarter sized Vitamin C that were sweet and slightly peppery all at the same time. I didn’t care for the garlic capsules but those Vitamin C rocked. I ate Flintstones during pregnancy just to make my Dr. happy. I eat quite a bit of vegetables so I think I am getting my vitamins well enough. However, one concern has always been calcium. I don’t eat a lot of dairy and that whole “got milk” mustache? Whatever, no thanks. I also cannot eat tree nuts and refuse to eat THAT much broccoli so the calcium levels are probably not being helped enough “naturally”. Now I’m getting my calcium and ADORA-ing it.
Those concerns about osteoporosis? They are dwindling a bit every day I indulge in my two pieces of chocolate. I’ll take it dark please but you can have the milk chocolate if you prefer. You read right. You can get your calcium with just a little bit of indulgence and no horse sized chalky pills. 2 Adora Calcium supplements (made in the USA by the way) deliver an adult’s daily requirement for calcium – 1000 mg, your daily amount of Vitamin D, and a small dose of magnesium, all at 60 calories, 4 grams of sugar, and gluten-free. They are even safe for kids and are strictly monitored by the FDA. **Processed in a facility that processes tree nuts.
